Historical Society Events History

April 2002 meeting

The women of the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church served a full-course meal to members of the Fulton County Historical Society in the church fellowship hall. Prior to the dinner, Society members had the opportunity to visit the historic Tonoloway Meeting House. Friends of Tonoloway opened the church doors from 4:00 to 6:00 pm so members could see the interior. Following the dinner, Commonwealth speaker Linda Lies of the PA State Archives presented a slide program on "Preserving your Visual Heritage: and Family History." This program was free and open to the public. A brief business session also followed the dinner, at which new Society officers were elected.
